Can I ditch the steel mirrors and get 24v mirrors?

Just curious; I'm not big on the steel mirrors for a few reasons, the primary one being they are pretty much worthless, and the second reason being they look silly. Can I somehow attach the 24v tow mirrors in place of my stock steelies?

yes you can.. ive done several. just got to make sure you get the tow mirrors for the 2 gen and not the 3 gen.

Very easy to install..plus you can see a heck of alot better pullin a trailer

yes very easy as long as you get the mirrors (94-02)

So are they pretty much a bolt-in? I just buy the mirrors and they go right into the stock location?

Yes, unless you are installing the towing mirrors; in which case you need the added support brackets.

I want the big black 24v-style tow mirrors that come out like 2ft from the truck...

then youre gonna need the support brackets but yes they just bolt right up
