Default scan guage II and 98 12 valve.

I have a stock 98 12 valve cummins. I recently purchased Scan Guage II. Some of the applications do not work and I waswondering if this was normal. Fuel Pressure does not work as well as MAP, Timing, Engine Load and TPS??

You are trying to put an electronic tool on a mechanical truck.

I think Hammer may have one of these.

+2 not all functions will work on all vehicles ... the truck has to be equiped with the sensors going to the ecu in order for the scan gauge to read it ... it would be the same as plugging in a scan tool and looking up the info ... if the info isnt there its not going to read out

Correct, you tool is working properly, all those settings would have to be checked mechanically.

Said it all right there, so yeah its normal. Your computer has little function on a 12v.

Dr.Evil....
I do not have a "Scan Gauge 2" on my truck as I knew that it would do little function at all and was a waste of money for a mechanical pump truck.

I run a Corsa Intellidash and have their data logger system.
