Default Injector Size?

I am going to order some SDX or Smokem injectors, but what size should I get?
shooting for the 450-500 hp range while running a single charger under 55 psi.. Will the 140 hp injectors be too much or can I get by with 90hp injectors. I want the smallest size possible, I dont like smoke and I drive this truck daily.

Keeping in mind I have these mods:
4k gsk
P7100 215 pump
0 plate FF
hx40 charger
16.5' timing
watermeth injection
Valair 500 hp clutch-single disk

Give chris a call and tell him what you have, what your goals are, and he will hook you up with a great set of injectors.

I would think you could get by with the 90's, i wouldnt go to the 140's with the turbo you are running. But with some tweaking of the pump and the 90hp injectors you should get to your goal, good luck and holla at me if you need anything.

where ya located? i can get ya 150hp injectors that are correct cuts that dont smoke that bad..... they are 8 hole and i have a set in my truck now.... the price is great and the company is located in western ohio ..... pm me if you want a quote or are interested in a set....

i have them on a stock charger and they are fine..... as long as the atomise right and you tune it i would say the larger injectors cause as everyone knows once you get there you will want to go larger.... so IMO i would get the larger ones and tune them to your liking ..... saving money in the long run

Not a fan of the 8-hole injectors, seem to blow off tips a lot easier, just my experiencethough.
To be onhest, i think 150's would be too much for what he is wanting to do.

8 hole injectors are a complete waste of time on a street truck.

There is no way your cleaning up a set of custom built 8 holes for a 12v with a HX35,sorry,but why give someone a line of BS here?.

I will second the 5x.012's with the HX40 and remind you that any boost pressure over 40lbs on a HX40 is running it out of its map range and will then just create heat. Also of note,I hope with all you have listed for your truck you have the head o-ringed,because if its not,it will be very soon. You would be wise to chat with the gang at SDX as they will not sell you something you do not need.
