head removal and studs

125 or on bogger motors 135 ft lbs. As for removal, well, get a cherry picker, and take off the factory lifting devices, they are worthless. Lift off the head where you can bolt a chain down and get the chain as flat as you can. You don't even need to pull the turbo if you do it right. We pull all our heads with the turbo mounted on the head.

So much easier to take the turbo though i think, only takes a couple minutes.
