Default 47RE Tranny Question

Okay im about to try to rebuild my trans thats finally gave in. I already bought a TCI TC and a sure cure kit. We have the trans apart an the steels apear to be good but the clutches is burnt up. I was wondering what kits yall recomend buyin or will a stock kit be enough. There is so many choices that im not sure which way to go. Im eventually wanting to go with some 5x.012 injectors and a hx35/40 hybrid when the economy gets alil better. And if i do tow a trailer its around 10,000-12,000lbs. Thank you

Well, you won't find a TCI anything in the transmissions we build. . . . .

What sure cure kit did you get? Set up is everything and it could run great or it could run less than great. Did you get the band strut? How about a billet input? What are you doing with this truck?

I just bought the reconditioning kit. Is there another kind of kit? Ive been looking for a band strut which would you recomend? No i dont have a billet input. Its more of a daily driver with an occasional trailer pullin but its normally just a toyota rock crawler or bobact.

I would get a billlet HD strut. I'm sure Diesel Nut can hook you up with that. When I did my trans i bought a rebuild kit from Suncoast. It can with everything I needed except the solenoid and sensor for the gov. pressure and the VB kit.
