I imagine it would still smoke with the stock dv's. I was running DDP 2's with a 6 plate, and even with my 62/14 I was smoking at least a little bit with my stock dv's.

he should be smokin!! i'd say not getting the right amount of fuel. take the fuel plate out,, should roll some coal. try turning the smoke screw in some.

sounds like your afc is not getting pressure it needs to move forward, make shure the boost line is connected to afc from the head. and crank the starwheel all the way forward. that should give you ALOT of smoke. then tune it from there to where you like it and it dont smoke like a train every time you take off

i would amagine he should be smokin .. cuz with my truck being stock and starwheel full foward i get some smoke ... and when towing my trailer i get lots of smoke at the start

how do i crank the starwheel? i no you pull the the plug of the top of the AFC but thats it
