i dont know much about injectors so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what makes a 100hp injector a 100 hp injector and a 300 hp injector a 300hp injector etc... never really understood aftermarket injectors can anyone shed any light on this for me

im no expert either but i think it is just the way they deliver the fuel flow that makes the diff.

yes it is the way it delivers the fuel. they differ by the size of the holes and how many holes there are and different spray patterens for different pistons. its normally like 5x.0019 or some thing like that to describe the size. so there are 5 holes and they are .0019

Alright for example 330, 370, 435hp injectors are marine style injectors. 4x.012, 5x.012, 5x.014. A 330 is like a 75hp, 370s are around 100hp, and 435s would be a 140hp injector. They have 155* spray angles. The pistons bowls in these trucks unless they've been changed to marine pistons are designed for 145* spray angles.

you can, but the spray pattern is wrong and they are very inefficient and will cause alot of smoke and high EGT's, i think you need thinner washers to get the fuel spray inside the bowl of the piston.

plus if your truck is stock, theres alot of cheap power upgrades you can do long before you need injectors

5x0.0019" is terribly small, the smallest stock nozzle is 5x0.009", 435's are 145°.
