Default smoke screw adjusting

do you adjust it in or out for more fuel?

you turn it in so the afc arm goes more forward

The smoke screw is the one on the back of the pump that sets the depth on the AFC diaphragm as far as I have known or been told.

yes the smoke screw is the one on the back of the pump. it is underneith a cover that has two bolts and one you have to use a chizzle to get out then replace the bolt or just leave the cover off.
