I believe they were talking about the fuel screw in the back of the pump but i could be wrong.

no we are talking about the star wheel

The smoke screw is the one on the back of the pump that sets the depth on the AFC diaphragm as far as I have known or been told.

yes the smoke screw is the one on the back of the pump. it is underneith a cover that has two bolts and one you have to use a chizzle to get out then replace the bolt or just leave the cover off. :yeah:

does adjusting the screw on the back do anything ?
