what for? the scheid extravaganza? yea everyone goes to that and thats the problem. If you were there this year it was really bad. When I left there was 4 big trucks pulled over from the fairgrounds to the interstate.

The diesel sport is gettin a bad rap real fast and it is not good. If terre haute didnt bring in so much money during that time they would shut it down aster than we think.

its the oh look at me I can smoke out the town and people dont know what the soot actually is and they think its really bad but their exhaust is actually worse than a diesel and they dont even know. It makes me mad when people get all upset because something looks bad but its actually better.

My dad is all against a diesel. I think I am starting to convert him though. ha and I dont even have one yet

A 12v would be a little easier on the pocket book to a point, but you have to know your way around a p=pump to get it where you can drive it on the street and still make the rediculous power, and trust me it can get frustrating. If your not to swift with them and plan on doing most of this yourself, i would go with a common rail setup. Personally i would stay away from the vp trucks, i helped a friend a lot with his and it was hard to get the power out of it,spent a lot of time and money, we gave up around the 700hp mark. But thats my .02, like everyone says, do it the way you want tonot what everyone else says to do.

I was at terra haute this year and honesty didn't think it was that bad. This punk in a white jeep ran over our tent though and really upset us.

A high horsepower CR would be the most street friendly. You can do it with a 12v but have to have a very good balanced setup and if you do it would be hard to beat. But i think it rather funny when you have these 800hp+ cr's getting beat on by 600hp or less hp 12v's and VP trucks in competition.

I think SDX was good imo. TS Outlaw on the other hand it was a constant haze all weekend not good at all.
