HTT 62/71-13 SS
i also have the 62/71/14 and its the best turbo ive owned yet

Wondering why you would make a comment like this when you have only owned 2 and 1 being the stock HX35.
what tha difference over that size turbo an a 66/71/14? lag, egts/ etc..
I had everyone trying to get me to put the 62mm wheeled 71/13SS on my truck when i was shopping for a charger the last time.I did alot of research on them and found they do spool quickly and are alot easier to drive(less lagtime than the larger 66mm) but are knwon to not support power levels above 550hp and knwoing I was going to squeeze mine I went to the larger charger. There is also a big difference in how the 62/71's drive with the various exhaust housings. The non-stainless 14cm is not as quick to light as the stainless 13 as the SS housing tends to retain some heat to aid with spool-up.The added cost of the stainless exhaust housing is worth every penny in my opinion if your going to buy a charger new.

If I remember correctly your out in the St Thomas,PA area right?....
I will offer you this, before you decide on a charger and if it would help your decision making out I would meet you somewhere and let you drive mine.........Andy

I have the HTT Pro-Street 66/71/13SS on my 5spd truck. There is a certain amount of low end you will give up to gain on top, but,to me its not that big of an issue as with the stick its easy to drive around.I would think if you had a automatic the lag would be more noticable and a little tougher to drive around.Once you get on top of the 66mm charger its amazing at how hard they pull and plant you in the seat.It really has been a nice charger and I would LOVE to try the bigger Pro-Street 71 and may after the holidays.

hammer, how much and often do you tow with the 66?
When I do its to tow my buddies 10" tire 68 Dart with a 500 inch wedge in it out to do some late night cash activities.I honestly could not give you a good report on how it tows because of how infrequent I do tow.
