Alright, I'm getting a new set of boots and I would like to see whats the best bang. I dont want to buy the cheap boots and have to replace them down the road with the expensive ones especially if I could have done it right the first time. Right now I'm looking at BD Vulvan and Peak. Are their any differences in them besides price and name brand?

 

ive heard the ones that luke sells are great pap sells the bds and ive heard they are good too

 

I was going to go with the vulcans from Luke but I'm kinda having doubts. Why are the vulcans 50/60 bucks cheaper than the Peaks and BDs? I rather spend the extra 50 and only have to do the job once then have to spend extra money on buying a second set..

 

honestly i dont know but the stock boots can handle a good bit a friend of mine is running 70ish pounds through an old school intercooler and stock boots i say 70ish beause its a 50 pound gauge that pegs hard

 

Yah, I took my stock boots as far as they would go. With my setup I was seeing 70-75lbs and all of a sudden my boost fell down to 25lbs at WOT and I was hearing a high pressure squeal and my EGTs were through the roof (1800 being the highest I saw).

 

I have ran the PDR Charge Air Cooler boots for years and have never had one fail at all.They were installed by EEP a few years ago when the new head was installed.
