Default Sun Coast Loc-Up Controller

I'm doing a 47RH swap into my 89 Cummins this winter. Instead of using switches and what not to control OD and TC Lock-up I was wondering if this would work.

Sun Coast Loc-Up Controller
Sun Coast Converters Diesel Transmissions, Fort Walton Beach FL

The ony problems I see are that I dont have a VSS or a TPS. Will this work as a stand alone controller in my application?

The TCM-2000 is for teh 47RE's

How does the 47RH put out its speed signal? Wire or cable?

you can tap into the speed sensor on the back of the t case, it uses speed to lockup and shift the 3rd to 4th, thats what i was gonna use on my 47rh. It will work fine, just make sure you get the race version, that controls 3-4th shift.

I do a little street racing with it too. That and Steph does not want a 5-speed truck.

If it is a 47RH,it has a mechanical govenor. The only elec shift is the TCC lock up and OD.The speed signal is from the gear driven VSS to the TCM.The TCM then commands the TCC lock up.
