hey guys im tryin to upgrade my valbe springs any help to get the springs out

get you a spring compressor then rotate the engine so the piston comes to the top of each cyl.get it off and put the new one on. its that easy

naw cuz we tried it and i guess the piston doesent come up far enough to keep the valve from droping,thanks anyway tho

oh dang man get you a diff. valve compressor cause mine does and we got the same motor. Look into the fact that once you get the spring compressed and the piston up on tdc for that cylinder you might have to tap it down on the compressor to break free the keepers sometimes they stick. But if you dont want to do it that way just get you an air adapter to screw in the injector hole and put shop air to it and do it that way.
ps with the piston up on tdc the valve will drop about a 1/4 inch or so before it hits the piston..

oh okay cause we used the timing pin on the back of the timing case and i was sure we were at tdc but that valve still wanted to drop i was just scared i was gonna have to pull yhe head off
