12 valve Twin Ram Intake
How much of a power gain would I get if I stuck one of these banks twin Ram intakes on my truck. its a 95 5spd with a built clutch,100hp sticks,#100 fuel plate, and is it also worth the money? Thanx
You will gain absolutely 0 HP from the "Twin Ram"...
All it does is better manage your EGT's in between the 6 cylinders and even them all out more. Before I had mine on the truck on average I had about 150 degree difference in the front 3 cylinders and the rear 3 cylinders. With the Banks "Twin Ram" on the motor the difference is down to around 50 degrees difference from the front 3 to the rear 3 cylinders.
As for value cost wise...
It would depend on what the intake would cost you and if you can find one second hand cheap enough or if its the look you want for your underhood. In my case,I found one at a deal and I bought it for a different look and gained the better EGT management.....Andy
