I've been looking at cold air intakes and WOW, are people proud of those things! WAY too much money for plastic and a filter for me!Anyway, has anyone had a fender liner out of their truck to actually see what kind of room there is in there? If we had a smooth tube that could supply the turbo from inside the fender we may have a good source of actual cold air form outside the engine compartment and I know it would make POWER!
If that's a no go how about a used system out of a wrecked truck? Does anyone have one for sale?

I haven't ever gotten a chance to see how much space there is in there if nobody has had a chance maybe this weekend I will go through my 95 and take a look

 

there aint much thats for sure i think maybe 2.5 inches all the way around at most enough to stick a stick of 2" ABS pipe and thats it
