Bubba...
I am not sure if he means you or me,but,It doesn't matter as he doesn't like being called out about his dumb azzed posts which tell you nothing but what his buddies do anyway.

And an answer for you to 94cummins12v...
All you need to do is go spend some time on the NW Bomber Board and you will find more than enough 500+ hp trucks within an earshot of you to say that you would not be the only one in or around your area.BTW,how does that seat-o-pants-dynometer work that tells you your at 500 work?.

Everyone here can take the "constructive" criticism. Calling people buddy or starting a post "look buddy" that comes off as someone being defensive or pompous.

Everyone that posted was posting to help answer the question that was asked in the original post. Some of them warned about potential risk in doing things without the funding available to do it the correct way but they all answered the question in different ways.

Take the advice of these guys, most of them have been there or are where you want to be.

BTW, Thanks for serving.

Happy???

Well now thats all settled,, I have a different type of question. I've been a heavy eq and industrial mechanic for 35 years. Also had lots of drag cars hot rod insane 4x4's and I've learned to ASK and LISTEN to advice of those that been there,,done that. Question; I've a 98 12 valve, ext cab standard bed. 3:54 gears dana70& 60,47re,180p-7100 pump. 160,000 miles. tranny rebuilt at 100,000 miles. shifts good. was told it was modded so could pull a lite camper in OD. pans clean. Nice truck,no rust, track lock rear. Pump still has safety wire on it,,Not touched. What would be would like to build it up some. maybe tow motorcycle trailers and my jeep sometimes,,not a lot. What would be some realistic and reliable mods to do. Love to make a hot rod,,but don't want the headaches. every modification requires more modifications ,,and so on. Don't want extreme,,I've got a 600 hp LS CJ-7 for that. Reliable and realistic horsepower for a daily driver. Wish it was a QCSB,,but it ain't. Any thoughts?? Lots of smart stuff out here so thought I'd ask first instead of chasing my tail from parts store to parts store.. Thank you all.:hellox:

For starters Holy resurrection Batman! Second grab some gauges and move your stock fuel plate forward until you beef your transmission up.
