There will always be those who say they are not going to do something and they end up doing it anyway. So why take a chance if you are going to run the 4k for a few dollars more put install the 60lb springs. Cheaper than a rebuild.

the 4k's wil fuel harder than the 4k and the 5 ks fuel harder than the 4k's personly i like the 5k's that way under normal driving it will never defuel you (i consider normal driving differant than most though)

Bought the 4k installed the springs for the 3k set up. Started to do the the 3200 set up which is the idle spring and the biggest spring that comes with kit.

What I've notice so far: The throttle is definitely lighter and more responsive no problems on fueling, only been to 2700 rpms, the more rpm's before shifting allows a cleaner exhaust after shifting to the next higher gear, also while shifting the rpm's do not fall as quickly therefore boost is up.

Engine seems to idle smoother.

This was my first set to install and the hardest part was getting the 2 shims behind the idle spring other than that take your time and things should go well.

Another note you might not have the same amount of shims on both sides, at least this was the case for me.

AS LONG AS NO MORE THAN 3200 is turned. Anything more or a slip up and you can have serious serious problems....Dont ask me how I know! Also if your over say 50lbs of boost its a good idea. With heavier springs it's also a very good idea and cheap insurance to purchase push rods!

We pay the same prices for the 3 and 4 kits , They should be balanced out by now price wise. The 5k is about 80 bucks! (ment to say 80 bucks more)

3k and 4k kits are the same price but the 5k kit is more. i have drove a truck with the 5k kit and loved it. But to take full advantage of the bigger gsk like the 4k and 5k you have to have enough supporting mods

i would honestly just buy the 4k and not buy the 3 because you may want to go bigger down the road. Just watch your RPMs if you dont get the 60lbs valve springs. with the 4k

you can run 4ks just dont be stupid with your truck. If you know your going to push it run Smokem 32s or 3ks. If you will treat redline like it is redline you will be fine.

Ive run all 3 setups except 5s (hopefully soon) I like the 3200s most but with this charger not lighting till 2100 or so I had to go 4k.
