4000 gov springkit

Some say its great and other say it's no better than the 3K GSK. It depends what you use your truck for.If you do any sled pulling or drag racing the 4K would more likely be worth it, If you use your truck as a daily driver and only haul a trailer here and there the 3K will suffice. One thing is that with the 4K, you will need the 60lb valve springs.

I purchased the 4k and will use the 3k portion until I install the 60lb springs then I will probably install the the remaining springs for a 4k gov.
got mine from mightydiesel.com Hope this is ok to put on here if not moderators please remove this last statement.

Nope.
I have seen 2650 rpms's pulling a trailer when 5th gear came off and I ran 4th gear on a 4hour trip home but it was defueling some. With the 3k and 4k the truck is still pulling very srtong and well with no defueling.

The motor is only allowed to rev up to a certain RPM underload or driving power which is different from from revving the motor in neutral or park.
Maybe this link will help out and give a better explaination.
