i think i am going to have my bottom end balanced. whats all your opinions on this? is it worth it what will i gain?

 

are you spinning 5k rpm's?? I dont think its really necessary for a street truck...if you think your truck runs rough maybe try a Fluiddamper harmonic balancer.

 

if your already in there it would be dumb not to.

 

i would do it since your already there, maybe not necessary but why not, you hopefully only have to do it once

 

i had mine balance when i rebuilt my engine in february it was only $30 more. why not

 

well i got my block and i went ahead and told him to balance the rods pistons and crank. i figured i might as well since im in there and it should run smoother get better mileage and last longer. where did you have your bottom end balanced for 30 dollars its going to run me 465 bucks

 

a local machine shop here in town. he charged $150 to bore it and and extra 30 to balance it
