Default Down Pipe

Well I finish the install of the Super B turbo last night. I ended up cutting the stock exhaust a little to short so the stock exhaust is removed. Here is the question I noticed that the down pipe was against the padding on the fire wall when I install the new exhaust well the down pipe have some clearance away from the fire wall?
If this topic is in the wrong location please move it.

no its ok if its touching mine has been against it for over a year now and it still looks like it did the day i bought it
