Default what is this air filter

i saw on a thread to get one of these air filters from napa its a p/n fil2790 is that like a cold air intake filter?

I think your talking about the BHAF. its not so much cold air intake as it is take in all the air intake . its a really big filter! drops right in.

5- go to NAPA. buy this filter: p/n FIL2790. this is known as a BHAF. remove the stock airbox and put this in it's place. bend up some sheet metal as a heat shield.

yup thats it. it can be had cheaper online but you cant beat driving to napa and having instant gratification. yeah just rig something up so its not sucking in to much hot air.

It is literally a big F'n air filter!

This is a 2790 on my own home made intake tube but they do fit on the end of the stock tube. Also keep in mind that their are various numbers passed around for the BHAF but they do not all flow the same

about $70 bucks from NAPA, and i think around $50on the net...but you also have to pay shipping...you can get a prefilter to help it last longer too...these are throw away filters but unless your driving in super extreme elemnets it should last a year or so
