Thanks for the links. Eh, I meant like.. adjust the timing to a different setting than stock? I'm really new to this, any advice on which setting would be good for me?

16 degrees is probably a good place to set it.

The factory timing tends to slip as they did not toque the nut enough.

I agree with the 16* until you get some head studs. just make sure you warm her up good before you really get on it.

im a little higher than 16* on a stock head. But I agree with the above 16 is good for a stockish truck.
