? Biggest Fuel Plate on a Automatic?
Hey Guys, I know this topic has beat into the ground, but I have a 95 2500 with a #6 TST plate and my bro has a 96 w/ a manual trans with the #10. He gets better mpg than I do and everthing is almost identical. Turbo back exhaust, BHA filter, 285 tires, etc. The only diff is the fuel plate??? He had the timing raised, but he was getting better mpg prior to that. Any Ideas? TST doesn't recommend the #10 on a auto but i had mine built, so I don't think it'll be a problem. Oh and he has the 3gsk kit!! Will the bigger plate and the 3gsk make that much difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can put what ever plate you wount in it as long as the trans will hold. as for mpg his manual will get better mpg than your auto. if up up your timing it will help and for the 3gsk there great but it wount help of hurt your mpg. also plates dont chang mpg ether they only limit full throdle.
hope that helps you out

it sould be closer on highway. also you have diffrent pumps and the timing was diffrent from the fatory and so are the injectors. or it might just come down to you have a heavier foot than your brother.
you do have a clean air and fuel filter in it dont you. they will make you mpg drop.
