Default GS washer shim?

How do you shim the GS to give it the same effect as an actual spring? I heard something about meteric washers.

X3 - cheap isnt necessarily good. Hell, the pump could hang up and you could have a bad situation on your hands.

yea I did the shim washer trick and had some issues pulled it out and put in the 3k kit and it ran like a champ. it goes along with the phrase you get what you pay for.
