Oh, so thats why, five speeds come with 4.5 degrees of timming and the autos come with 5 degrees? is there any books that explain more into detail about these pumps?

 

pumps are timed between 12 - 14* depending on what pump it is ( 160,175,180,and 215). The 215 is the only pump with the retard notch all the others have flat tops. I'm sure there is a book out there but there is a lot of great info on fourms you just have to read.

Just by installing the rack plug you don't achieve more travel. You also have to do the AFC mods to accommodate for more travel.

 

Jamie you ever install one of them there rack plugs?
