i think he wants a pick of what and location of the "mack plug" to gain more rack travel. maybe even a pick of someone that ground the timing cover to install the plug.

i dont have any pictures of it but it is on the back of your afc housing. if you look at it, right in the middle on the back of your housing, there will be two bolts, one is a regular and the other is one of those do not enter bolts. take that little cover off and you see a nut. at the end of the threads u'll see a spot where you put an alan head wrench at. loosin ur nut and then screw the alan head inwards and that will move you gov. arm givin you more rack travel. i got mine where the nut is barely hand on to the threads and it works good

That would be the preload screw, that gives you more low end fuel but does nothing on the top end. To get more rack travel you have to mod the afc, silde the plate foward or take it out. If you have a 160 175 or 180 pump the 2095 mack rack pulg will help giving you max travel. If you have the 215 pump stay away from the 2095 plug if its a street truck.

the rack stop plug which is usually replaced with the 'mack plug' is located on the front of the pump and can only be accessed with the pump removed.

Why cant you put this mack plug in a 215 pump? i thought the only difference in the 215 pump from the 180 pump is the dvs? If i were to put 191 dvs in my pump with 90hp injectors should i take the the rack plug out? i want more information on the differnce between 215 pumps and 180 pumps.????????

kinda wondering why do they not recommend the 2095 mack plug on a 215 pump?

you can put it in a 215 pump, the reason your not suposed to is because of the retard notch on the 215 plungers. as the rack advances the pump retards the timing. so the more rack travel you have the more timing you lose up to 4*.
