Their hp and torque is probably right on the money but you need a pyromoter or you will risk melting pistons. Im trying to educate you here.
Im not sure why you are telling me what your idle is...I asked what transmission you have. BTW, the idle is too low...should be at 800 rpm in park/neutral.

You need to take a second and read what Doc is trying to get into your head-
You need a pyrometer (EGT) gauge and a boost gauge before you put this kit in. This kit adds fuel, fuel makes heat and heat melts things. Go get gauges before you do anything.
This kit is pretty decent and makes good power. Check our site sponsors first before you order. They should be able to get you what you need.
If the truck is stock I'd look into an air filter set up of some sort and open up the exhaust. You can also replace the governor springs and get some more RPMs out of the motor. I'd recommend the 3K springs for what you're doing.

ill tell you right now as a tst power kit owner .. you NEEED gauges .. with just thiere #8 plate in the stock position and a 5inch exhaust i could easily peg 1500 degrees which is where you dont want to be for a long time. and imo theres no point in keeping the stock exhaust because its too restrictive.. just change it in its entirety not the cat-back b/s and that includes getting rid of the stock exhaust elbow.

Right on the money with the gauges. I had the TST #10 kit in my truck. Really nice mild upgrade on my 215-pumped motor. While there are other ways to get the same/better performance, it all depends on what you want/need the truck to do. Are you looking for just a few more hp? You could slide your plate forward, get a boost elbow, and last but not least, GAUGES!!! What people are telling you here isn't just for the sake of trying to sell you a product. They are saving you from potentially burning your engine up. Do you want to spend $300 now and an afternoon installing them, or $2k+ on a new engine that still has the stock power? Me, I'd get gauges.
That said, if all you're looking for is a little bit more power to tow your quads up the hills, get some gauges first (the horse is dead, no?), slide your fuel plate forward, get some 3k governor springs, an aftermarket intake/exhaust and a boost elbow. That can be as simple as a $50 BHAF air filter, $90 4" downpipe with an elbow (under the passenger door gets loud and annoying, in my opinion). The springs themselves would be a huge improvement, as the stock springs start cutting the fuel back around 2300 RPMs.
If simplicity, and an all-in-one package is what you're looking for, the "power pack" (regardless of which manufacturer/vendor you buy from) is hard to beat. You will notice a huge improvement if you add the governor springs to the package.
