Default Air vs Fuel

Hey guys I found this website yesterday and ended up reading things on it for quite a few hours. I have a 97 12v with 215 injectors, 0 fuel plate, star wheel cranked up, a stage 3 AFE brute force air intake, and a 4' exaust on it right now, but i have a 5' laying around for once i get a bit higher hp and a built up tranny. My buddy and i were debating on air vs fuel. I wanted to get some more fuel to the engine by getting mabey 425 injectors and some 191 delivery valves to get my truck goin a bit faster. My buddy recommeneded that i should get a new turbo instead, to get the most out of what i have in it right now. Any input would be aprieciated.

Also anyone happen to know someone that does Diesel Dynos in Alaska ive been lookin and found 1 but they only do gas engines.

Are you running a stock turbo? IF you are then that hot of an injector will run very hot. Im sure your egts are already warm.

This list is assuming you already have gauges. They are first in my book and in almost anyone else’s.

For all out power
1 Fuel Plate #10, 100, 0 AFC tweaking
2 4K GSK
3 clutch upgrade or new TC and VB
4 Exhaust and intake
5 New Turbo or mild injectors
6 Big injectors (435s ddp4s) or new turbo
7 DVs
8 Trans upgrades (shafts)
9 Head work (studs, Fire rings)
10 Pump work
11 Something injectable

Im sure there is stuff im forgetting but that’s a basic list.

Oh and don’t forget tires

I think that list is good except you forgot gauges and manifolds.

Wow there are two words that do not belong in the same sentence! Banks and Super B!

The Super B is a BD Diesel Turbo not a Banks and a good choice for you, it has a very large efficiency range that will work hard, spool up great and run very efficiently right up 450RWHP, If 450HP is exceeded, the Super B can be upgraded to twins.

The Super B includes a 4" downpipe with clamp and an adjustable wastegate.
