With what you have done and what you are looking at doing I know firsthand that the super B will not hold up it took me a month to kill mine. I would recommend a super phatshaft from industrial injection.

If the Super Single is not efficient enough we have the Super B Special, Super B Tow Twins, Super B R700's twins or even the new Super R850 twins.

Why does phatshaft use a fatter shaft? To prevent turbo surge from breaking shafts.

Engineer a turbo that does not surge is fixing the problem rather the masking it up. Correct me if I am wrong but if the shaft is larger than doesn't the housing for that shaft have to get larger? In that case wouldn't you be sacrificing vane length? Which would create a less efficient turbo that surges.

At what boost were you running the Super B when it failed; what was determined as the cause of failure?

Let get some details here....

I was pushing about 38-40 psi and snapped the shaft my phatshaft has held up awesome and spools quicker and I am pushing around 50 psi and I have not had a single complaint

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I have called bd about my turbo and they said they would rebuild it on my dime so I gave up on it and thats why I went with a different turbo. I have heard that the twin setup is a really good from bd. I still have my super b and thinking about having it rebuilt but just can' t afford it.

How long did you have the Super B before the shaft broke?

So your $1300.00 Super B failed in less than 60 days and you did not even send it in for warranty?

We do not deny warranties with out looking at the products first??? You mentioned you still have the turbo, can you supply the serial number off the Super B Turbo? I want to get the facts straight on this post so everyone reading it understands why that shaft broke after only 1 month at 40PSI.

Thanks
