yeah that air shouldnt be that hot any how, the heat from the engine will have minimal effect on it regardless

 

Are you talking about strapping an air filter (like the ones at the auto parts store that are metal) straight to the turbo? No pipe?

 

To 103 at first i thought that all the filters had steel pipe batween filter and turbo but now i have seen kits with rubber.Does anyone know if there will be any noticable differance between bhaf or some $300.00 AF kit .I was told that straight 4 inch will be loud inside cab getting ready to order 4 inch tomorro just like $20.00 differance with see through muffler.thanks to you all for the help
