It's been awhile since I adjusted a star wheel, if I remember right, looser the spring the more boost pressure it's going to take to move the afc foot. Correct?

Negative, the looser the spring less pressure it takes to move the foot

Hmm I remembered wrong then haha, I know the pre-boost screw is in too far. Once I adjust that I'll have to play with the star wheel

Well I tinkered with the preboost screw a little on my lunch break..I'm gonna have to pull the afc off and look at it further. It felt like the screw was backed away from the foot a good bit.

I'd say laggy. Just because even driving on the interstate, if I let off the fuel and get back into the throttle it will dump smoke out until the turbo lights. The injection pump is putting out about 450cc's. think I might have to cut the fuel back? It had a zero plate in it now.

screwing the pre boost screw in allows more pre boost fuel ... to me it sounds like you need to loosen the preboost or slide the housing back.

I didn't try sliding the housing back yet, I tried backing the pre-boost screw out a good bit and it didn't change much

the afc arm is prob back as far as your washer set up allows the foot to go
