Default Turbo and starting questions

Hey guys, I have a turbo off a 99 cummins on my 97. It's got 56mm compressor wheel with the 7 blade setup. Is there anyway I can put a 6 blade wheel in it? Is there wheels like that available? If so I would imagine you'd get more flow. Also is there any problems they are known for? My last question was is there anything I can do to get my rig to start up smoother and quicker? I don't like it having to crank over too much. Any input would be helpful, thanks guys

what is the charger? i he341 or an hx35? both i believe have 56mm compressors. the 341 has a small turbine housing and really will become restrictive. the part # to the 6 blade hx40 wheel will fit either charger and i would have to go out in the cold to the inclosed to get the part number off one of my wheels for you. the 6 blade hx40 wheel flows pretty well. what you will be creating is a hx40 hybrid charger. you will need the compressor cover off of the hx40 as well so that it will be a bolt on replacement. the wheel and shaft will need to be balanced so you don't have catastrophic charger failures. compressor explosions are nasty. the hx40 wheel is a 60mm compressor, also food for thought a s200 has the same shaft diameter for the compressor. the compressors are much taller and by visual inspection are much more aggressive. they come in 60mm wheels as well if you would like are part number? i also have in my hand a he351cw compressor wheel that should... i dont have a measuring device off hand fit directly on a hx30/35/40shaft as well as a 341 shaft. the part number is 4035879 it should run about $120ish i can get you exact number tomorrow if you would like?

Thanks for the offer but I was just asking for future reference. The turbo in my pickup is an hx35 off a 99 dodge. Same turbo that's on a stock 2nd gen 12 valve just with a 7 blade setup instead of 8
