where to set injection timing at? mod list inside
I just purchased a 188/220 Hamilton cam, arp studs, and a 24 valve oil pump to help repair my recently deceased 12 valve. I was wondering if you had a suggestion on where I should time my injection pump at. I have looked around and talked to several people and im trying to pinpoint where I would be best. I have a 1997 dodge 2500 4wd on 35" tires, it is a manual with the 215hp pump. I have a bd 63/65/14 turbo, 5x.013 injectors, no fuel plate ( which may change according to towing egts and smoke), 60lb valve springs and a 4gsk, and a valair 400/1000 clutch. the truck is a daily driver but does see an occasional car and trailer, or a load of fourwheelers up through the mountains. thank you for you input
I have heard that 17* or better will spray outside of the factory bowls, which in turn creates excessive egt and smoke is there any truth to this? where would the power curve shift to from 16* to 20*
