Didn't drop anything in the pump did ya? No new oil leaks?

Nope, I was like a heart surgeon with the magnet, didn't drop anything. It drips one or two drops after I shut it off, but nothing more. Like I said, I took all precautions with the modifications. Like I said it ran fine after I adjusted the gvt springs the second time, took it out for a test drive, and after driving about 2 miles, it went back to the low idle and dying. That's when I checked for blowby and it was smoking, continued to smoke just a little even after I turned the truck off from the oil fill tube. Like I said, not a "puff puff" with the engine pulse. It smoked like someone dropped a cigarette..or 5...into the oil fill hole. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow. I'm really worried. The truck is absolutely beautiful mint condition, but I spent a lot of time and money getting it there, if I blew up the engine...I'm toasted.

i think you are really getting worried over nothing. i have owned 2 12v's an they both do this. 90% of boosted motors have blowby. cummins is a great motor, an very strong.

FYI, I installed a set of springs the other day and tightened them 1-2 clicks over stock and the idle was low. the guy liked the touchy throttle, so instead of loosening the springs i upped the idle to 850RPM in gear with the A/C on. guy was happy.

the outer spring is what controls Idle, and since it is stock, if you go any tighter than stock it lowers the idle as it causes the governor to back off fuel.

ANYWAY, carry on.... again, the GSK did not cause excess blowby.....
