97 2500 Budget Build
Got the truck 2 months ago, all it had was #8 fuel plate, wastegate line plugged and cat and muffler cut off, 3k gsk, and rebuild tranny with shift kit and TC
After researching on compD and cumminsforum i have come up with anywhere from 350-450 as my goal.
Plans are:
Afc Tune
No plate
Racked barrels
He351ve or cw (help me decide)
4k gsk & 60# VS
5" exhaust
I have already got my exhaust, and fixed the wastegate line, need to get an easy out tool si i can get my allen head screw to get to the starwheel. Lemme know what u think. Ill post pics in a cpl min

Took off steps and grinded down rust
Exhaust exit 5"tb w/ 7" tip

Alright i just purchased a he351ve and im still figuring out how to run this turbo... Lemme know what u think.
Alright, DP will open the vanes but will have a stop to limit boost, a spring will bring it back to original position, where a stop with a compression spring will keep it out of the EB. I will wire up a piston type motor to push the collar into the EB mode and hopefully that spring on the stop will push it back out of EB when i reverse the piston motor. Everybody trackin? Ill also try to find a way to slow the spring when letting off throttle so it doesnt bark, maybe like a mini shock absorber from a rc car or something... Lemme know what u think!!!
