Under normal driving the turbo sounds normal. When im accelerating hard or shifting through the gears fast, the turbo sounds like it barks between gears. The question i haveis, is there anyway to stop this? Maybe a blow off valve? I havent touched it yet but could the waste gate be set wrong? I know thats on the other side of the turbo but it doesnt sound like the stock turbo when you get off the throttle. The threads i found when i searched all pertained to auto's so i just had to ask.

I just dont want to wreck my turbo. The tech at industrial said it won't hurt it but i dunno, it doesnt sound good. I was just wondering if there was a way to cure it so i could run hard through the gears.

a blow off valve to relieve manifold pressure. but you shouldnt have issues unless you really beat on the turbo
