fuel plate. doubled my power and IF I WANT,,, lots of black smoke..

Oki appreciate the feedback, which fuel plate would be good for my truck, it has 350k miles an runs like a new one. An how hard is it to install.

very easy to install. instructions are super simple.I personally went with a #6. if you.ve gone with bigger exhaust. could go #5. some guys put in #1 or #0.. for reg use. i think goingthat low is alittle radical. like i said. I myself am learning.. I've read guys putting in #0 plate, then taking it out because it was too extreme.. what are you looking for for HP? stock HP is 190.. I want about 300.. right now. with a #6 plate and 4" exhaust.. if i punch it. i break the tires loose.. not an allout burnout.. but tires break and I leap forward.

Well mine is stock, no upgrades what so ever except a straight pipe all the way back, an I believe it's a 3/1/2 in exhaust. Whatever came factory I just took the cat off an added a straight pipe then had it bent were it comes out behind my rear wheel. I just want about 300 up as well an I wanna roll the coal. Should I get a #5 plate an turn up my ppump?

Well I just bought the truck an a old man owned it. It breaks the tires loose know an if I work the throttle it throws a little bit of black smoke. So I should put a bigger exhaust on it an a better fuel plate then she'll throw the coal?

thats what i did... i actually cranked my smoke down. i did have it where i stomp on it. i bellow the black smoke. but it you want smoke. thats what i did. 4" exhaust and #6 plate..
AND. if you got same truck as I do. and I think you do. I was recommended to put on 300rpm springs in pump. but springs are alittle complicated.. if your not really mechanical.. don't do it., have someone who is do it. the plate is a piece of cake. anyone who can read can do that, but springs, are easy.. but intricate... go on youtube.... look up p7100 injector pump springs.. thats how i found out HOW to install them.. also look up fuel plate.
before you start altering............. READ UP on this.. there is a ton of info on youtube.

got auto............ i know i'm losing power with this damn computer torque converter,
was going to put 5 speed. had it all ready to install but. MY BACK said" you ain't doin it"
so, sold trany. what do you think of a switch to lock torque comverter? i've heard pro's and cons.

WHY???? looking to go newer with 4 door.. comfort. told the 12valv jen II with p7100 are the best.

ive never fooled with an auto cummins, but id say with that kind of plate in that 180 pump that your tranny wont last very long. im no trans guy but ive never heard good things about dodge autos. as far as getting horsepower my friend has a 98 and it has a 10 plate, 3k gsk, and its timed to 16* and its got all kinds of horses and still gets 20 mpg. although his is a manual and has the 215 pump instead of the 180 that came in automatics
