Default Raptor 150, fuel pressure regulator... some questions...

Am i right to assume that if i block the return line... and set the fuel pressure with the fuel pressure regulator on the raptor... that i will be fine ?

I just discovered a leak on the return line fitting on the tank and if possible i would like to delete the return line ?

Is this only possible with the VP44 ?

If i do this, what do you suggsest i set fuel pressure to with my setup ?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

seriously ? no answer...

i tried closing the return line, and some fitting blew on the fuel filter housing...

fuel pressure will spike and blow every thing it can including filters banjo fittings, you injection pump will over heat because the fuel flow through the pump cools it/

example while testing my geo trackers fuel system the other day i dead headed the fuel pump got about 72psi for a reading. the truck opperates at less than half that PSI.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!

I can't see why this would be worse on my P7100 than on a VP44 ?

Is this maybe the reason for VP44 failures ?

Before the seal on that banjo blew on me, i am certain truck performed better...

How can i raise the fuel pressure with that POS OFV !

it ran better because the fuel pressure was through the roof. stock ofv? if so replace it already. tork-tech all the way.

i only know of a few vehicles utilizing a return less fuel system. the fuel pump in the tank is pressure sensitive. they have external fuel coolers and all sorts of neat things your 12 valve was never designed with.
