Default 48re questions

im new here and for a reason, my tranny is not behaving. i've got an 06 quad cab 4x4 with 105k on the clock, running a diablo sport predator on extreme, afe s2 intake mbrp 4" turbo back with muffler and a airdog 2 liftpump. about a month ago the tranny started shifting from 1st to 2nd and back constantly. its still doing it, and now its doing it from 2nd to 3rd at 20-25mph. i changed the filter and fluid at 100k, some slim in the pan. i've never adjusted the bands or anything else on the tranny. any ideas whats going on?
thanks in advance
Jonathan

Drop the tranny pan, it's located on the VB pass side.. I would replace the sensor and the governor pressure solenoid. google it "48re Governor Solenoid and Gov Sol Pressure Sensor" more info than you can read in a night..

well that depends.. What are your horse powers goals.. are you a drag racer. are you a sled puller.. How much money do you wanna spend. you would be wise to search cummins forum competition diesel forum for all of your answers. Honestly, longevity depends on how you drive and how good you maintain your truck, but just judging from your sig, you sir are already on borrowed time. I would definitely invest in some billet components, before it is too late, unless you do what I did and just buy a full billet comp trans and just swap it for the stocker. I agree, search competition diesel and similar forums as well, this is a very popular conversation.
