Default 06 transmission issue

have a 06 3500 the trans was hard to get out of park, very hard. took the truck to a shop where they pulled the valvebody and explaind that a spring had went bad on the gear selecter part of the valve body.they claim to have repaired. now the truck does not run correctly and all the lights are on in the dash? they have had the truck for a week and a half. i dropped in and found they had the valve body out and apart again. they are claiming to have rebulit the body and that the 2 computers are not working together causing the issue.is this possible? thank you for any ideas

well... Repairing/ replacing the valve body is NOT that big of a deal. We had to pull it out twice when we fixed the overdrive unit... Yes it is true that the spring can get messed up, however The linkage will cause some big issues if it isnt adjusted right, but fluid level is a HUGE deal in the 48RE! You MUST check it in neutral, and hot to allow the valves to really open up, then that will tell you what your fluid level really is.. these trannies are NOT happy, even a little low! Make sure you put a new filter in there as well!

Im gonna say the same thing I said to another guy who might possibly have tranny issues.... If the throttle positioning sensor is out of whack, that can cause some huge issues as well...sluggish, not shifting properly etc... I think them messing with your valve body that much is bogus... It takes a lot of abuse to really mess those up... just having the fluid at the proper level will make a lot of difference... I know this seems really general, but make some calls in your area, and find someone who REALLY understands dodge transmissions, and diagnosing dodge problems...
