Cab swap question... Quad to regular

Thanks for the input guys..., I think it was a pipe-dream (albeit doable, but not practical) to keep my diesel. Even with a short wheelbase it would still be overwhelming in my 1 car garage.
Bftrain, I am seriously considering a diesel Jetta, I think it would be perfect for my needs, and somewhat mod-friendly as well. Too bad I couldn't use my Smarty jr with it.
