Everyone else I know with a 3rd gen 5.9 has it. I tell them their injector pump is going out. hilarious. as stated there's nothing wrong.

 

My 1st gen 12 valve squeaks every time and it's 235k miles. Just the nature of the beast.

 

does any one have the part number for this belt 04.5 cummins with air?

 

My truck started doing it when I change to the gates green heavy duty belt, also I was told by a smog/mechanic technician ( he owns a Dodge) that it could be because you shut the engine off right away, we are supposed to let the engine cool down, that way the turbo bearings don't get cooked by hot oil staying there. I started doing that and in decrease the chirping considerably, however is still does it a little bit. I think it is just the belt. If it bothers you change the tensioner and the belt
