Default possible new truck

Hey I'm new here and am thinking about buying a 3rd gen. I'm looking at an 07 3500 4 door 4x4 6spd with 119,000 miles. Not sure if it has the 5.9 or 6.7 yet. I'm working on finding that out. What are y'alls thoughts on this model truck? I would prefer a 5.9 but, if it is cheap enough i would take the 6.7. Is there anything particular i should be on the lookout for with this model truck?

If its a 6.7 makes sure the EGR is good and the DPF has been serviced at some point. My buddy just bought an 07 with the 6.7 and hes pretty happy with it I can still keep up with hiin my stock 98.5 Cummins though, proably not after he delets it all. His has 122XXX on it and paid 14K for it dealers screwed up on Craigslist. 6.7L come with an Exhaust brake standard so thats a good feature. Other than that check the suspension, gaskets, ask about service and test drive the hell out of it.

My buddy picked his up for 14000 with 122XXX 4 Door 6.7L its basic no power options put it works for him. I had a sub to car fax but it ran up after I picked up my cummins. You can go to a dealer and see if they can pull a service record on it to.
