Hey everyone, I am new to this group and have a question for everyone. I have an 07 Ram with 5.9L Cummins but its got the AUTO trans in it and it sucks!!!!!!! I want to swap it out for either the G56 or NV5600 I guess. My main question is how much will it cost and what all do I need to get for it to be done right???? I have my own auto repair shop, so I know my way around a vehicle, but I don't know what I have to get done to ECU or PCM or even the harness.... Any and All INFO is greatly appreciated .... throw some money in the auto, the auto in the dodges can be bullet proof with some work. I know a D-max that puts 1300-1500 HP depending on dyno and NOS and his tranny is based off of a 48re. So instead of doing total swap, have goerend build you one.

 

Goerend, DTT, Suncoast......thats about all ya need to know. Get that auto built, and forget about it. With a full built auto, chances are you won't go for enough power to destroy it.
