2007 Dodge Cummins with junky auto
 

Hey everyone, I am new to this group and have a question for everyone. I have an 07 Ram with 5.9L Cummins but its got the AUTO trans in it and it sucks!!!!!!! I want to swap it out for either the G56 or NV5600 I guess. My main question is how much will it cost and what all do I need to get for it to be done right???? I have my own auto repair shop, so I know my way around a vehicle, but I don't know what I have to get done to ECU or PCM or even the harness.... throw some money in the auto, the auto in the dodges can be bullet proof with some work. I know a D-max that puts 1300-1500 HP depending on dyno and NOS and his tranny is based off of a 48re. So instead of doing total swap, have goerend build you one.

Goerend, DTT, Suncoast......thats about all ya need to know. Get that auto built, and forget about it. With a full built auto, chances are you won't go for enough power to destroy it.
