It's computer controlled in the truck I'm driving (2006) and suppose it is in your truck as well. You could purchase a boost fooler, or look at a programer of some sort to adjust the boost pressure.

You could boost reference...do away with the electronic control. I just had mine done a couple weeks ago, still needs some tweaking; but I like it so far.

The OP asked about the stock wastegate so I just figured that would be the route he was looking to go. You are right though. Thanks!

Your right, wasn't thinking... What about banks big head wastegate? The only other thing I've heard of is actually pinching the line off to basically cut out the wastegate, but then you run the risk of damage from over boost situations. Sorry about that, guess I'm not much help on this one.

thanks for the input, i have thought about the banks big head just dont have the $200 right now and seeing if i can get more boost for free with out risking serious damage. i have herd of a few people adjusting the stock wastegate to get more boost, but no one can tell me which way to turn the rod to get more boost.

I might try making very small adjustments and seeing what happens. As long as you mark your starting point some how so you can get back to zero again, and go small??

That sounds about right. I'm getting about 34-35 running the smarty, but was at 28-29 stock.
