Seems like my Tie Rod end (pass side) that goes from the Pitman Arm down to the Knuckle is a little loose. I don't feel it at all in the steering but I hear some loud rattle when hitting bumps and that is the only thing I can wiggle that almost sounds like that rattle.

Lift tire off ground and check up/down play & side/side play and it seems ok. But I can take and twist long shaft (tie rod) about 1/4" to 1/2" so it must be that which makes the rattle noise.

Checked shocks and couldn't move them at all so I don't think they are broken.

Local parts store say they can't get any parts for the Dodge Ram. Haven't checked with Dealer just yet but rather find it from some other source if possible. Maybe less $$ also.

63k on the truck.

Driver's side only has the typical Outer Tire Rod end (short piece). This thing goes the complete length from side to side and has tie rod at one end, then up about 6", a hole to have another piece bolt onto it, then it contiues all the way to the Pitman Arm.

Any suggestions would be great.

I did give Dan a call and unfortunately, he isn't suppling any front end parts for my year Dodge just yet.

I did get a price from Dealer and only $125 so that isn't bad. I expected higher.
