Default New Member, Got a Question

Thanks for the info I have a question but not sure just where to go to ask on this site, new here.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I got stuck on the side of the road. Going down interstate, my truck had the "dead pedal" for a few seconds, I got off interstate, and the pedal started working right, about 15 minutes later, my truck died and would not start back up? Do you have any suggestions for that? My friends seem to think that it is the injectors? But there was no smoke coming out. Any advice please

Sounds like your lift pump went. Is it in the fuel tank??

Mine went out at around 94k. I have read alot about OEM dodge lift pumps having alot of problems. And figured it was due time. Im sure the amount of use and wear and tear on the vehicle would play a part.

Clean your battery terminals just for kicks! Put a guage inline to see if you have fuel pressure the CP3 will pull fuel past the pump so a no start may be that or something else.
Any codes?

Same thing happened to my 99 cummins. Those carter lift pumps are junk. Replace it with a FASS DDRP which is like a 45 minute install or get a full system... Fass - Fuel Air Separation System
