Default Need Help! Lost.

I bought a 2005 ram 2500 cummins. It came with a Edge EZ on it. When you tap the accelerator it continues to accelerate after you release the pedal. Then it kind of spikes up and down on the way back to idle. I know people who also have the same problem with it, but not as bad. I removed it and the truck still does it. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

IF you get off the fuel rill fast the rail pressure has to drop before it will return to idle it should return quick

It Idles allright a bit of a lope, like it has a cam. I met someone a couple of days ago who's 04.5 does it worse than mine (his truck has never been chipped) he has been told it's the throttle position sensor. But the TPS being on back order with no release date kind of puts a hamper on that.

Could be injectors. Mine was doing the same thing, then one day it my truck wouldn't start, took it in they flow tested the injectors and they were all bad! Replaced them and added a 2 micron filter and she runs like a top!

It's frustrating, I hear that there is alot of stuff that could cause it. I don't have the money to just throw stuff at it. Injectors Is what I am hearing most. I was wondering why I am hearing that I shouldn't get Industrial Injection injectors. The guys I work with, say there is a reason why they are cheaper than most places. If I got to spend that much I want to make sure I getting good ones.
